Definition
Agentic Website
A website that does not only display information but can take actions within defined business processes — answering customer questions, qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, and updating records.
Unlike a traditional website, which is a static brochure, an Agentic Website is connected to business data, knowledge, and workflows. It responds to visitors in real time, remembers interactions, and initiates follow-up actions. It does not make autonomous business decisions. Significant actions — such as sending a quotation, applying a discount, or signing a contract — require human approval.
